Stale Meatloaf, Anyone?!

Published by zibahrose at 3:37 pm under Dating Edit This

It only takes an overzealous friend or family member to figuratively package and present you like stale meatloaf to a possible suitor to just totally ruin your chances with that particular person. This happens when they tell him or her about you. It is the choice of words, the “too much information” statements made to generate interest in you. To avoid such humiliating situations give your friends and family members some gentle direction on how you would like to be presented to possible prospects.

Immediately, when most people hear that there is someone for them to meet, on  a romantic level, they begin to assume the person is in desperate need, must be homely and totally inept at social relationships. To manage this negative conception, give your matchmaking relations the framework for a positive “press release.” The only information they should solicit, if you are a man, is the lady’s telephone number and or email address. No further information is necessary…personal descriptions, occupation, what you drive, etc., is information for you alone to impart about yourself. If you are a lady, your relations need only to give out your email address and your telephone number at your discretion. Your past, future plans and present situation are yours to disclose as you see fit. Make sure your friends and family members understand how serious you are about their compliance with your requests.

Matters of the heart can make the earth move under your feet and it would be awful to miss meeting the man or woman of your dreams because loose lips sank your ship before it could sail.
